Neskonlith Pow Wow
The Neskonlith Band hosts an annual Traditional Pow Wow on the main reserve by the Band Office. It takes place every year on the last weekend of August.
People generally arrive Friday, when there is a blessing of the grounds, and a warm up, and on Saturday, there is a grand Opening.
About The Pow Wow
Some information about the pow wow:
- Traditional: No Entrance Fee
- the coming 2009 Pow Wow will be hosted on the weekend of August 22nd and 23rd
- the event is alcohol and drug free
- there will be:
- arts and crafts
- 50/50 raffle
