Chief Judy Wilson

Judy Wilson has an extensive media background in audio-visual production, book publishing, broadcast journalism and web planning. Currently, she is working with the Adams Lake, Neskonlith and Little Shuswap Bands in the Chase area on development of a network database and referral seoftware for land-use planning and management. Her work experience includes time as a data technician, communications officer, project developer, news reporter, broadcast manager and marketing coordinator. Wilson has just completed the second year of a First Nations Public Administration program leading to a Master's Degree in Public Relations. She is an advocate of language, culture, history, aboriginal rights and title for Secwepemc communities. She was elected Chief in 2007, and has served on Band Council a total of eight years.



Councillor Tammy Thomas

Tammy Thomas, 2nd oldest daughter of Jane Thomas, and grandchild to the late Dr. Mary Thomas Sr. is a single mother of 2 grown girls, Melissa and Bailey as well a Nana of a 3 year old girl, Payton.As a council member, Tammy has been a role model to her kids, all her family, peers and community members. The role as Social Wellness portfolio holder started with a vision to be more involved in the day to day work needs. As the structure changed so did the role, and now
Tammy is more than happy to be there to attend community events, such as: all community funerals, assist with the Neskonlith Elders Pow-wow, Switzmalph Cultural Pow-wow, the promotions at the Roots & Blues for the cultural center, attend the child at the center conference and the child welfare conference as well as sit on the Secwepemc Child and Family Services board and work on improved communications with the RCMP, SCFS and our council.

Councillor Neskie Manual

Neskie Manuel's first term on Council will be a learning experience, but he will also be bringing his work expereince includes time spent as a helicopter mechanic, computer programmer, radio host and DJ. He is currently he is working on translating the Linux Operating System into Secwepemctsin with the help of Chief Atahm and School District 73. He hasn't bought a single piece of software in ten year. He is an avid runner and cyclist and would like to encourage more of the healthy activities our community already participates in like food
gathering, hunting, and swimming. His work in radio has been invaluable and would like to see Secwepemc people take more control of the media that is in our community to ensure our voice is heard. Councillor Randy Narcisse

“It is both an honor and a challenge to serve as councilor”, says Randy
Narcisse. He is the grandson of Emily Narcisse (who lived to be 109 years old, and has family among all 3 reserves), and the son of Robert Lecamp and Josephine Narcisse Randy has one son(who he proud to say is a recent graduate, and is excelling academically). His dedication to sports and teamwork has served the players he has taught during his 8 years as a hockey coach. As a councilor driven by his wish to see a prosperous community for his people, his key focus is to study the potential of his people, and strive to help create gainful and long-term employment. Another key focus is the empowerment of the
youth, and listening to their voice and helping to develop a solid foundation to support them in their future.
